Burr HF 100 L – carbide burr for difficult-to-access areas
Thanks to its conical round-nosed design, the burr HF 100 L by Klingspor proves ideal for work in places that are hard to reach. Available in a variety of cuts and sizes, this carbide burr is an excellent option for a wide range of use cases and materials such as
- construction steel,
- NF metal,
- highly heat-resistant materials (e. g. chromium steel),
- cast iron, and
- plastic.
Designed for use by do-it-yourselfers and professionals alike, this high-quality tool delivered results of great precision – especially in places where using tools is difficult because of limited space.
Different cuts for stellar results
To give it the flexibility to reach even difficult-to-access areas, Klingspor designed this burr with a conical round-nosed shape. Optimum results during use are guaranteed by an extensive selection of cuts. A unique combination of carbide metal, geometry and cut plus a long service life add up to a cutting and stock removal performance of optimum quality and efficiency. Aside from offering it with a standard cut (Cut 2), Klingspor makes the carbide burr HF 100 L available in various different versions to allow the user to achieve optimum results in every type of application. Every single burr prior to shipment undergoes a rigorous inspection that assesses, among other things, the quality of the material, the dimensional accuracy and the flawlessness of the solder joints. This level of quality control ensures a long lifetime and maximum safety during use.
Working within the optimum speed range
The HF 100 L is available with several different head diameters and can be used for deburring, grinding contours, and chamfering and rounding as well as for levelling weld seams or reshaping the geometry of workpieces - even in areas that are difficult to access. The permissible spindle speeds vary with the head diameter and the material to be processed. The recommendation is to operate in the medium spindle speed range. This ensures precise milling results at an extended lifetime. To avoid premature wear and accidents, the carbide burr should only be used in combination with clamping systems and drive units that are free of play.
