This cut is used for soft, long-chipping materials such as aluminium or other NF metals. Finally, the double cut (Cut 6) stands out with its improved handling and operation with minimum vibrations. Klingspor specifies in their catalogue for each version of the carbide burr both the permissible and the optimum speed. Each combination of head diameter and material to be processed comes with its own optimum speed range within which the tool should be operated. The maximum permissible spindle speed must never be exceeded.
